Funerals & Memorials

You may be reading this as you've experienced, or are preparing for, the death of a loved one.  Please take your time to read how I might be able to support you through this difficult time.

Feel free to contact me whenever you feel ready.

CONTACT ME

As your funeral celebrant, I'm here to support you every step of the way...

  • Meeting at your convenience: I will meet with you at a time and place that works best for you, whether that's your home or another preferred location.

  • Calm and attentive approach: My approach is informal and flexible, and I’ll listen closely to understand your needs and wishes.

  • A personal and unique service: I’m fortunate to be able to create and lead ceremonies that can be religious, non-religious, spiritual, or culturally significant.

  • Involving family members & friends: If you'd like, I can  reach out to other family members and friends after our first meeting to gather their thoughts and ideas.

  • Assisting in arranging the Order of Service: including music, readings, and poems.  And I’ll be there to lead the service on the day.

  • Writing a heartfelt eulogy: If needed, I can write a eulogy and make sure to share it with designated family members for checking.

  • Coordination with the Funeral Director: Making sure everything runs smoothly, including timing and making sure the Order of Service is proof-read.

  • Venue selection support: If you haven’t chosen a venue yet, I’d be happy to offer advice; remember, you have options!

  • Emotional Support and Guidance: I’m here to help you throughout the whole process, pointing you in the direction of additional help if needed

  • Prompt communication: You can count on me to respond quickly to emails and calls, any day of the week.

  • Navigating family dynamics: I’ll handle any family disagreements with care and diplomacy, striving to find a solution that works for everyone.

  • Supporting family and friends: I’ll spend time with your family and friends before the funeral to answer any questions about the day.

Above all, I aim to deliver a funeral service that is professional, warm, heartfelt,

and, when appropriate, even a little humorous.  From my own personal experience, I know how difficult the lead up to the funeral is so I'm here to support you in any way I can.
